Digital Infrared

I had one of my cameras converted to infrared. Infrared radiation is electromagnetic radiation that has a wavelength just above what we see as red light. Infrared light is not viewable by the human eye but can be captured with the camera. This technique causes green foliage to appear white and skies and water to turn pretty dark. I think it is pretty interesting how Cynthia's shirt turned from red (see below) to white. I converted the first and third image to black & white infrared but the second image remains in color.
